About Your Photographer

Am I the only person who can’t seem to find words when asked “Tell me a little bit about yourself”? My mind immediately goes to thinking “tell them about your son, your husband, your business…”

So, here I am, trying to actually talk about ME.

I have had a camera in my hands pretty much ever since my momma handed me my first one at 3(ish) years old. (Peep me and my beautiful mom up there! ^) However, it has always been just a hobby until after my son was born and I began the life of a stay at home mom. Stepping away from my office job allowed me to spend more time with a camera in my hands, renewing my passion and reminding me that I had always planned on making it my career. Everyone always says to make a job out of what you love and you’ll never hate your job again. Boudoir, couples, and weddings are my absolute favorites!

The best flowers are sunflowers and gladiolas.
I could survive on chicken wings, craft beer and iced coffee.
Horror movies are my jam. The entire fall season is Halloween in my mind. If I have free time to watch TV without my son by my side you will definitely find me watching something scary. Give me a Michael Myers Halloween marathon and I’m happier than a pig in, well…you know.
I love animals. I will never tell you “no" to bringing a pet to your session or wedding.
I’m a big fan of Michael Scott humor. You know, “that’s what she said.”
I love hiking and exploring new places. Let’s go on an adventure together!
The mountains definitely call my name. I’d rather be hiking and camping than at the beach.
I could stay up all night talking about aliens, ghosts and bigfoot.
My home often feels like a zoo with my son and dog running around chasing after one another. Believe me when I say that chasing your family around (for those priceless candid shots) is ZERO problem.
